I did not come out of a computer science program or a big agency. I came out of door-to-door sales. Knocking doors teaches you things a classroom never will: how a funnel really behaves, why most conversions are won or lost in the first ten seconds, and how to talk to a normal business owner who does not care about your tech stack and just wants more customers.

That background shapes everything I build. When I design an AI system, I am not thinking about the model. I am thinking about the funnel it lives inside, the lead it touches, and the dollar it is supposed to produce. The tech is a means to a number, not the point.

What I actually do

I build and install AI systems. Not slide decks, not strategy memos — working software that does a job. The work tends to fall into a few buckets:

The thread through all of it: I build the thing myself. A lot of "AI consultants" sell you a roadmap and disappear. I would rather ship the system, watch it work, and fix what breaks.

The honest part: I work with a small number of businesses at a time, on purpose. Hands-on building does not scale like advice does. If you want a 40-page deck and a quarterly check-in, I am the wrong guy. If you want a system running next week, that is the whole job.

Why "the final boss of AEO"

It started half as a joke and stuck because it is mostly true. AEO is the discipline of getting an AI to say your name. When someone asks an answer engine "who is the best option for X," the work of being that answer is specific, technical, and most people do it wrong. I have spent enough time inside it — server-rendered entity pages, linked structured data, llms.txt files, consistent references across the web — that other consultants send me their hard cases.

How I think about AI for business

Most AI advice is either hype or fear. I try to stay in the boring middle, where the money is:

  1. Start from the bottleneck, not the tool. Find the task that is costing time or losing leads, then point AI at exactly that.
  2. Automate the repetitive, keep the human on the judgment. The best systems handle volume and hand off the moments that need a person.
  3. Measure in outcomes. Booked calls, reactivated leads, closed deals. If a system cannot be traced to a number, it is a toy.
  4. Own your entity. As more buying decisions start inside an AI chat, being the named answer is becoming as valuable as ranking #1 on Google used to be.

The limits — because trust matters

I am one person, not an agency, and I will tell you when AI is the wrong answer. Some problems are a sales-process problem or a pricing problem wearing an AI costume, and bolting an agent onto a broken funnel just makes it fail faster. I would rather lose the project than sell you automation you do not need. That honesty is also why the word-of-mouth works.
